The Moscow City Tourism Committee has officially launched its new training program aimed at enhancing business travel from India. This initiative is a part of the Moscow MICE Ambassadors online certification project to increase bonds between India and Moscow and to promote the Russian capital as the best host city for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events. Starting from the 3rd of June to the 1st of November 2024, this online project promises to be a transformative experience for all participants. Through the RUSSPASS portal, representatives from India’s MICE industry can register for the program.

The Moscow MICE Ambassadors pilot course, which was introduced last year in partnership with the Indian MICE Agents Association (NIMA), witnessed 50 members receiving the inaugural certificates. Building on this success, the program is poised to bestow certification upon 200 professionals from India’s MICE industry this year. Commenting on the results, Evgeny Kozlov, Chairman of The Moscow City Tourism said that, the Moscow MICE Ambassadors program is focused on India as it is our priority region. Our objective extends more than simply boosting the influx of business travelers from India to Moscow. We hope to raise the standard of services we give and effectively show our abilities. To accomplish this, we inform the Indian MICE experts about the nuances of organizing corporate events in Moscow and give more support to customize business agendas to suit the Indian market. Our training modules are designed with a long-term perspective in mind. I am confident that all MICE specialists who will receive certificates this year and in the coming years, will be able toform business programs in Moscow thatmeet the needs of even the most demanding of clients, says Kozlov.

This year, the program has been advanced to contain practical information on organizing and planning events in Moscow, offering tips tailored to Indian corporate clients. In Moscow, participants will study network opportunities, conference facilities, transportation services, accommodation options, and key business districts. They will also gain immediate insights into The Moscow City Tourism Committee’s exciting plans and receive insider tips to help promote Moscow and assist in the bidding process for MICE events. The certification program for Moscow MICE Ambassadors contains five in-depth modules designed to introduce participants systematically to the city’s MICE potential, showing its unique cultural beauty, centuries-old history, and rich architectural heritage. Each module includes a video lecture and resources that can be downloaded for self-study, giving important tools for participants’ future undertakings. Upon successful completion of all modules and assessments, participants will obtain the Moscow MICE Ambassador certificate, which shows their proficiency in the program.

India consistently emerges as one of the top countries in terms of tourist influx to Moscow, with business travel being a main driver for Indian visitors. In 2023, Moscow welcomed 3.7 million business travelers, marking a 7 percent increase from the previous year. In April 2024, in Delhi the Moscow City Tourism Committee organized the Shaping MICE Future conference, bringing together over 100 representatives from the MICE industry in India and Moscow. The event introduced panel discussions and thematic sessions, offering Indian MICE stakeholders insights into the benefits of organizing business events in Moscow and opportunities for better cooperation.

We categorically and unequivocally disavow and condemn these activities.

We have identified that these actors have been promoting scams and pyramid-style schemes across various social media platforms, including TikTok and Telegram. These schemes falsely claim, among other things, that they:
• Hire individuals as “TikTok promoters” with purported daily payments of £175;
• Provide £20 daily check-in bonuses and £50 referral rewards;
• Require victims to register on fraudulent websites such as hdbtccof.com and other imitation platforms.

For absolute clarity:
• We do not recruit through unsolicited WhatsApp, Telegram, or social-media messages.
• We do not pay individuals to create or post TikTok videos.
• We do not ask anyone to deposit money to “activate” an account, unlock earnings, or participate in any investment programme.

Do not send money or provide personal information under any circumstances.

These criminal actors are deliberately misappropriating our name, as well as those of other unaware Companies, forging documents and certificates, and unlawfully reproducing our branding in order to operate completely fraudulent social media promoter and cryptocurrency investment schemes.

If you wish to verify any claim of affiliation or have concerns regarding suspicious communications, please contact us directly at info@commonwealthunion.com.
