Under the visionary leadership of Professor Urbasi Sinha, the qkdSim software employs a modular approach to model various physical processes integral to QKD setups. This innovative methodology allows for the simulation of the entire process of generating and distributing quantum cryptographic keys between two parties, facilitating secure communication. Professor Urbasi Sinha emphasized the significance of qkdSim, stating, “Our invention overcomes the need for expensive trial-and-error experimental approaches to designing QKD systems.
