Residents of Ogun State now have the opportunity to own a home!

ABEOKUTA (CU)_Several senior executives of the FCMB Group, led by CEO  Ladi Balogun, paid a visit to the city of Abeokuta, and met with the governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun. During the visit Balogun revealed that the financial powerhouse is set to make the dream of owning a home a reality for the residents of Ogun State. In order to do this, FCMB has partnered with the Ogun State Government to provide affordable home loans to subscribers of low-cost schemes.

In his address, the company’s chief executive reiterated the commitment of the Group and its subsidiaries to support the initiatives launched by the local government towards the development and welfare of the people. “We are ready to support the state government’s development agenda to ensure improved quality of life for the people by helping them to own homes. FCMB will always be there to fulfil its promise of helping customers achieve their aspirations,” he said.

Responding to calls made by Governor Abiodun for a more robust relationship between the state and the FCMB Group, Balogun affirmed the commitment of the firm to join forced with the local authorities to improve the quality of life of the people and enterprises. “In the last 30 months, we built over 1,000 homes with more required to help the State fulfil its housing goals. People are buying them faster than we are building them. They are either paid in full or paid in part, and those are areas that you could work with us,” he said.

Meanwhile, the governor also encouraged FCMB, as a leading financial holding company in the country, to adopt a Primary Health Centre for rehabilitation in the state, and the establishment of a school programme to develop the education sector.
