UK Royals (Commonwealth Union)_Prince Harry has come a long way from South London’s Buckingham Palace, and is certainly making the most of his days in the sunshine.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex jetted off to Jamaica as a guest of honour at the Bob Marley: One Love premiere, a film celebrating the reggae legend’s life and legacy.
They certainly picked the best time to be in Jamaica – they were there for Reggae Month and were shown the finest the country had to offer courtesy of the Jamaica Tourist Board.
They were in for a treat with colourful church choirs raising the roof, and could let their hair down at the Dancehall dos, street parties and yacht parties. The stunning Reggae Orchestra entertained the visitors, who also learned about Jamaica’s rich culture at the Reggae Open University. Bob Marley’s son Julian Marley took part in a musical tribute to his late dad, while there were charismatic speeches by the minister of tourism to look forward to. Oh, and plenty of the finest Wray and Nephew rum on tap. Can’t beat it!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle launch new website

This was followed by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s three-day Canada trip
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have jetted off to Canada to hit the slopes in Vancouver, to kick off a three-day visit related to next year’s Invictus Games, which follows the couple’s recent revamp of their website. It is the first time the couple have been spotted since they faced criticism over the relaunch of their website.
Mirror Online reports that their revamped website, which is now ‘Sussex.com’, sparked claims four years after stepping back from royal duties, that they were trying to appear more ‘royal’. It was revealed in another surprising move, that their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lillibet, will carry the surname Sussex instead of Mountbatten-Windsor, a break in tradition that was set in 1960by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
In a change of scenery, Harry and Meghan were spotted hand in hand on the slopes of Whistler, Vancouver on Wednesday, 14 February, showing their unity as they kicked off the Invictus Games.
The Duke and Duchess enoyed a cosy double date with Canadian singer Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato whilst in Canada for the Invictus Games countdown for dinner at a Vancouver hotspot, where they enjoyed various dishes alongside cocktails, gin and tonics.
The Duke and Duchess dined with the married couple for approximately three hours as they visited Vij’s in Vancouver, enjoying a cosy dinner date with spicy food, multiple courses and cocktails. The restaurant, which has been a hot spot in Vancouver and has also been visited by Prince William and Kate in the past, has provided the perfect setting for the couples to spend time with each other before attending Invictus celebrations the next day.
The group dined on a variety of dishes including goat meat, potato cream curry, market shard, and little black chickpea cakes, which were served with rice and naan. One dish the quarter tried included a rack of lamb with marinated mustard and sweet white wine in a fenugreek cream curry, which Vij had previously cooked for Prince William when he visited Canada alongside Princess Catherine. Chef Vij spoke to PEOPLE as he revealed: “It was a very big deal for me to say, ‘Hey, this is what your brother loved, and I think you should try this dish.”
