Singaporean AWS partner enters into Australia

Singapore (CU)_ The Singapore-based cloud technology service business Xtremax has extended its wings into Australia with additional operations in Sydney and Melbourne. In addition, the company has designated channel executive Luke McLean as senior business director for Australia to head the local business and give strategic supervision.

Xtremax, established in 2003, is a partner of Amazon Web Services (AWS) that focuses on multi-agency cloud platforms. The company administers over 70 federal agencies via the platform, which releases approximately 700 apps. Xtremax also plans to introduce its Cloud Primus and Nimbus Stream solutions locally, delivering multi-vendor cloud management and cloud spend optimization and monitoring capabilities to clients.

Denise Kee, chief executive of Xtremax, said, “The launch of our two offices in Australia marks an exciting chapter in our expansion plans across Asia Pacific”. He added, “With our strong record in developing and managing large complex cloud infrastructure projects across ASEAN, we look forward to partnering with Australian businesses in the next step of their cloud journeys.”

McLean expressed delight over his new appointment. He said, “I’m excited to be a part of the Xtremax family and I look forward to working closely with the team to further grow our business across the region as we broaden our product portfolio with innovative solutions to help accelerate our customers’ digital transformation.”

Kee expressed confidence in Luke’s abilities. He said, “We are delighted to have Luke onboard, especially at a time when Xtremax’s cloud-first solutions have reached new heights in delivering compelling customer value.” He added, “Luke’s passion for driving customer-centric results, coupled with his strong technical and business expertise in the field will certainly present new opportunities for Xtremax to further accelerate our momentum across the region.”
