Singaporean firm and SKU ink MOU for youth digital skills enhancement program!

Singapore (CU)_ The Singapore-based business Tech-Mark along with its Indian subsidiary Tech Mark Training India has established a program to support youth gain digital skills. The objective of the program is to bring digitalisation to the doorsteps of Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprise (MSME) units. During a two-day International Conclave, which was held recently, Tech Mark Training India and the Atal Incubation Center of Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SKU) inked a Memorandum of Understanding.

According to Satish Babu, the Managing Director of Tech-Mark Training India, Tech-Mark, Weblium of the United States, and Skill Universe of the United Kingdom will also launch a project for this reason. The effort will support millions of small company owners who are unable to afford expensive investments or who lack the technical expertise to operate a software.

According to him, digital skills are a precious asset which has a key role in an ever-changing technology-driven environment. Through this project, young people will be able to acquire digital skills and get placement chances to help the digitization of the MSME community. Mr. Satish stated that every trained youth would be connected to two or three MSMEs, and this trained individual will fulfill their digital requirements for a modest fee, thereby benefiting both the youth and the MSMEs.

Under the program, participants will get a chance to work on live projects and receive a certificate upon completion of the workshop, allowing for instant placement into the companies. According to Mr. Satish Babu, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) will provide support for the initiative. In addition to Orissa, Telangana, Karnataka, and Gujarat, they also intend to implement this project in other states.
