The Middle East Organic & Natural Expo has served as the leading platform for wholesale and retail trade in the MENA region for more than two decades. Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment of the United Arab Emirates, the event encompasses new food and fertilizer products as well as cosmetics and bioproducts. The organic market in the Middle East has experienced exponential growth in recent years, and Dubai, as the commercial hub of the region, provides an ideal starting point for opportunities in the flourishing natural market.

The region’s increasing focus on healthy living and higher disposable incomes contribute to this growth. As one of the world’s largest import markets, Dubai carries significant weight for producers and manufacturers of organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, paraben-free, or natural products seeking to enter the market. The Consulate General arranged business networking sessions and meetings with key counterparts in the UAE, including major retailers such as Lulu, Al Maya, and Carrefour, as well as gardening suppliers. This strategic initiative aimed to help Sri Lankan participants expand their presence in the UAE and the broader MENA region.
