An upsurge of new free schools in some of the most underprivileged areas of the country will assist around 12,000 young individuals, another major step to raise school standards by the government.

An announcement by the government that 15 new free schools are established to be opened in areas of the country where education is at its weakest. And providing more openings for local young individuals.  

The free schools are not run by the local authorities, although funded by the governments. Instead, the schools are administered by different organizations, commonly academy trust, but also universities and industry. This will ensure greater freedom to drive up standards and innovate, such as more independence over the teacher’s curriculum and remuneration. 

Three of the new schools are to be administered by the high performing Star Academies and Eton Collage, Teesside and Oldham, scattering the highest standard of education through out North West, North East and West Midlands. The schools are formulated to help the rapid increase the development of talented local individuals into major universities including Cambridge and Oxford.

Academies and free schools are essential to the government’s efforts to elevate school standards, with 88% rated as good or outstanding, up from 68% in 2010 for current schools by Ofsted. England’s students have stepped up the international ranking for reading and 9- and 10-year-olds are currently at the top in the western world.

Parents are provided with additional choices of respectable schools with the new free school program, helping to standardize prospects across the country. It enables conviction to open high-quality education institutes in new areas and facilitate new expertise to area that need it the most.

Gillian Keegan Education Secretary informed; free schools performed better In A level result than other categories of non-selective state schools in England. Estimated 35% of students in free schools attained a grade A or A* in A level examination compared to 22% in local authority schools.

Keegan said, more much schools should be available to families, the 15 new free schools will bring new opportunities to young individuals from Bristol and Bradford, offering high standards and added choices to parents and links to industry in areas where opportunities are required the most.

Sir Hamid Patel CBE Star Academies chief executive informed the governments work of formulating these new schools to enhance school standards since 2010 has pushed the percentage up from 68% to 88% with good or outstanding, in free schools and high performing academies in all areas of the country. The free school programs continue to supplement creativity and innovation into the school system.

Simon Henderson Eton Collage headmaster stated, the 3 sixth form collages, in partnership with Eton Collage, is incorporated in the program and eager to coordinate with the local stakeholders to offer more young individuals with the aspiration and high-quality educational opportunities that they deserve.

Collective partnership will be crucial to the success of this project and are grateful for the backing that has been provided from the respective councils, from our colleagues, local communities and other educational settings, he informed.      

Plans have been formulated and approved for 2 University Technical Colleges (UTC’s), BRIT school North in Bradford, a primary school, 1 new all-through school for pupils aged 4 to 16, 2 secondary schools and an additional 5 free schools for 16- to 19-year-olds.                                   

The BRIT School North will generate openings for rising stars to break into the performing arts industry in the north of the country. Its is constructed on the award-winning preforming art school, that has helped to unveil the careers of Jessie J, Adele and Amy Winehouse.
