Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Suhana Khan, daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, is not only making her acting debut in The Archies but is also stepping into the world of playback singing in the Hindi film industry. She shared this exciting news with her Instagram followers by posting a screenshot of the song “Jab Tum Na Theen,” composed by the renowned Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Further, Aditi Saigal, popularly known as Dot, is also part of the song.

Suhana expressed gratitude to Shankar Mahadevan in her caption, stating, “I sang my first song!! Thank you @zoieakhtar & @shankar.mahadevan for being so patient with me. Engaged in the promotional activities for The Archies, Suhana Khan was recently captured alongside the entire cast before an event. Clad in a chic green dress that perfectly resonated with the film’s retro vibes, she was accompanied by Khushi Kapoor and Dot. The Archies trailer has generated considerable anticipation, showcasing a group of teenagers enjoying life in Riverdale. The plot revolves around Archie Andrews (played by Agastya Nanda), aspiring to make a mark in the music industry; Veronica (Suhana Khan), who returns from London with a desire to explore Riverdale in her unique way; and Betty (Kushi Kapoor). The trailer hints at a love triangle involving Archie, Betty (Khushi Kapoor), and Veronica. The teens’ lives take a turn when Veronica’s father decides to transform Riverdale’s iconic green park into a grand hotel, altering the dynamics among the friends.
The trailer also portrays how Archie’s companions, including Jughead, Reggie, and Ethel, navigate through life and resolve the challenges that come their way. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the Hindi adaptation of The Archie comics is co-produced by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Sharad Devarajan under their production houses, Tiger Baby and Graphic India.
