Diaspora (Commonwealth Union) _ A shooting incident in south Edmonton, Canada, on Monday resulted in the deaths of two individuals, one of whom has been identified as Buta Singh Gill, the proprietor of Edmonton-based Gill Built Homes, according to reports from CTV News Edmonton.
The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) responded to a shooting report in the vicinity of Cavanagh Boulevard Southwest and Cherniak Way Southwest, where they discovered three injured males upon arrival. Despite emergency medical services’ efforts, two males, aged 49 and 57, succumbed to their injuries, while a 51-year-old male sustained serious life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.
EPS has confirmed that the homicide section has assumed control of the investigation and is not actively seeking suspects. Autopsies for the deceased individuals are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.
