The Governor proposed educational and cultural exchanges on Government-to-Government (G2G) and Business-to-Business (B2B) levels. The exchange would involve teachers and students from both regions sharing knowledge and insights into teaching methods and other education-related aspects. Governor Eno, during a meeting with Akwa Ibom citizens in the UK, briefed them on the promises and prospects of the ARISE Agenda and the diaspora opportunities it presents. He expressed his readiness to collaborate with the diaspora throughout his tenure, emphasizing the diaspora’s potential positive contribution to the state’s economic development.
The Governor also attended the London Political Summit, where he marketed Akwa Ibom as an ideal destination for investment and leisure. The Commissioner for Information, Comrade Ini Ememobong, noted that these collaborative efforts mark a strategic milestone in creating and strengthening international partnerships, fostering cultural and educational exchanges, and building a sense of community among Akwa Ibom citizens in the United Kingdom.
