Commencing this year, a small scale project with a grant of £12.7m is set to continue till 2025 with the primary focus of conducting trial social prescriptions across 11 areas that include Bath and North East Somerset, Bradford, Cornwall, Cumbria, Doncaster, Gateshead, Leeds, Nottingham, Plymouth, Suffolk and Staffordshire. The project is set to highlight cycling and walking groups which are most certainly likely to make activities more interesting and sustainable as opposed to the solo implementation which some individuals would stall after short periods due to a lack of motivation.
