Warnings of Western arms leakage from Ukraine to Libya.

LIBIYA – A report by the French magazine “Monde Afrique” warned of a potential danger to Libya from the Ukrainian war, in light of the massive military support from the United States and the West to Kiev. This has been a rumor that was now confirmed by the media as it could cause a lot of problems diplomatically.

The report said that the West is helping Kyiv by sending defense and offensive equipment worth billions of dollars, and it is possible that these weapons will reach Libya from Ukraine. This could mean that the war would take a different turn and then there would be more casualties on either end.

The French magazine referred to what was reported by CNN on April 19, quoting US officials and defense analysts, that some of the weapons received by Ukraine will end up in unexpected places and in the hands of other armies and armed groups, in the long run.

According to a military source, these weapons will already be placed in the Balkans, noting that in 2012, the weapons in Albania ended up reaching Benghazi, adding that “these weapons are enough to fuel instability in Libya and the Sahel region.”

The magazine added that Libya is a strategic country through its geographical location and its great wealth of energy, stuck in a spider web of external interference that exacerbates internal tensions and political crisis.
