What are students asking from the Maharashtra Government?

With Covid 19 shutting everything down the education institutes were the first to get shut down. With this happening all exams got postponed or pushed back and worst case scenario they got cancelled. When this happens students face delays they didn’t think they would face and sometimes these delays could be financially draining on the students and their families.

India has been hit the worst now with country running out of oxygen it has been made clear unless you are a frontline worker then you are not allowed to leave the house. There are emergency need that have been justified for one person in the family to leave their house and once the need has been done then it’s back home to stay inside. This is also because of the rapid spread of the disease and India as a whole country not being able to cope.

The country has cancelled all exams for the time being and it does not seem to be getting under control. There are national and international students attending this university and studies are getting delayed. Students cannot even fly out to their home countries and complete the exams elsewhere as there are no flight coming into India and there are no flights leaving India.

The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has already postponed their exams three times as it was not feasible to hold an offline exam for thousands of students at the time when the state is grappling with a pandemic. The students are beginning to worry as it is their financials and future on the line, questio0ns are being asked by the students about having the exams conducted online but it seems the government is not taking much notice of this.
