Launchpad, the 119-metre superyacht reportedly owned by billionaire, Facebook founder, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, was reportedly built in 2024 at a cost of approximately USD 300 million. The vessel was spotted off the coast of British Columbia, anchored near South Pender Island on Thursday, 18 June 2026.

The sighting comes days after Zuckerberg attended the 80th birthday celebration of U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House.

According to ship-tracking websites, the yacht had previously spent several days in Seattle.

The Marshall Islands-flagged megayacht is usually accompanied by a support vessel named Wingman. Data from MarineTraffic.com indicated that the 80-metre support vessel remained in Seattle before departing the city on the afternoon of Thursday, 18 June 2026, heading towards the mothership.

Online brokerage YachtWorld described Launchpad in 2024 as one of the most expensive private vessels in the world.

The yacht was reportedly built by Dutch luxury shipbuilder Feadship. Its exterior design was created by De Voogt Naval Architects in collaboration with Espen Øino International.

Feadship describes the vessel as a classically balanced yet edgy and innovative yacht. It features two helipads, a spacious beach club, a Jacuzzi, and a swimming pool with a movable floor.

The vessel was the largest yacht Feadship had ever built at the time of its completion, according to the company.

The builder states that the yacht features a steel hull, an aluminium superstructure, and interiors designed by Zuretti Interior Design.

Netherlands-based marine publication SuperYacht Times reported that Launchpad is powered by four heavy-duty engines, enabling it to reach a top speed of 24 knots.

According to SuperYacht Times, the support ship Wingman functions as a floating toy box for the larger vessel. It reportedly carries its own helicopter, a fleet of watercraft, and a scuba-diving support centre equipped with a decompression chamber.

Launchpad was anchored near Bedwell Harbour, approximately 50 kilometres from Vancouver. The area was hosting numerous celebrities, business leaders, and politicians who attended the FIFA World Cup match between Canada and Qatar on Thursday, 18 June 2026.
