WASHINGTON DC (CWBN)_ Ahead of the November 3rd polls, the Biden political campaign released an advertisement that features popular American actor Samuel L. Jackson urging American citizens to exercise their right to vote.

In the short commercial, Jackson briefly described the history of voter suppression in the US and encouraged the public to make use of their vote. “Voter suppression has taken many forms,” Jackson says. “First, they used the poll tax to keep Black folks from voting. Then, it was the literacy test, racial terrorism, and violence.”

“If your vote didn’t matter, they wouldn’t try so hard to take it from you,” the actor stated. “I’m exercising my right to vote, and you should too. Not, because I want you to – but because he doesn’t,” leaving little doubt as to whom ‘he’ was.

The commercial ended with Jackson urging everyone to “Vote, dammit, vote!”
