Suspected terror attack in Nice

Paris, France (CWBN)_ According to local authorities, three people have been stabbed to death and several others were badly injured in a suspected terror attack Notre Dame Basilica in Nice, France, today (29th October) at around 9am local time.

One of the victims who died in the attack was reportedly beheaded. The third victim had reportedly succumbed to his wounds after having escaped the church and sought refuge in a nearby bar.

Details regarding the condition of those wounded are unavailable at this time.

The suspected terrorist has been appredended by the police and have identified him as a French Muslim of 25 years, and had reportedly shouted “Allah Akbar” prior to the assault. The French Muslim Council were quick to denounce the attack.

The suspected attack was carried out about two weeks after the murder of Samuel Patty committed by a 18 year old Muslim-Chechen, in suburban Paris.
