Exciting announcements by CLIA.

It seems these days we are always looking for some bit of good news as opposed to all the dreadful things we see on the news about a virus that is causing disaster around the world. It’s clear that people are only making plans around getting their vaccinations done as most countries are now having heavy vaccine drives to get at least 60% of their people inoculated so that they can have herd immunity.

In Britain, the one thing this travel restrictions have done is they have curbed foreign travel to an all-time low. People are not traveling abroad as they fear that they may get infected or worse stuck in a country if the Covid situation were to get worse.

While all of this happening on land no one has spoken about what’s happening on water. This is where CLIA AKA Cruise Line International Association comes into play. They have announced that with proper precautions taken and once inoculated people could still get on a cruise ship and enjoy a holiday.

These holidays could come in packages of different sorts and rules and regulations. There are even day packages where the ship would sail out a few hundred yards once you board early in the morning and came back to shore the same day in the night and you would get to enjoy the ocean for a day. Here are also longer packages that can be bought if it’s group of people for a few nights.

The CLIA is still ironing out minor details of this but is excited to announce that people now have a travel option if they did want to go on a holiday. This will bring about something to look forward to and it will also give other countries ideas to try something like this.
