The Nigerian Police gets insured!

Abuja, Nigeria (CU)_ In Nigeria’s south-east and south-south regions, police officers and other security personnel are the target of violent attacks. Numerous police officers have lost their lives due to the deadly attacks in the regions. As a result of this continued attacks, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma has introduced an insurance policy that will provide life cover for the police officers in the state. Mr Uzodinma announced the insurance scheme when he visited the police headquarters in Owerri on Tuesday to express his condolences to the police authorities over the deaths of policemen who died as a result of the recent assault by unknown gunmen.
