Royal United Hospitals introduces new treatment for inoperable lung cancer

London, United Kingdom (CU)_ The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is now offering a novel type of radiotherapy treatment to patients with inoperable lung cancer. The fatal tung cancer is operative only in about 18 percent of patients, owing to a higher disease frequency in smokers, who frequently have cardiac or respiratory health issues that exclude surgery.
