Karnataka tries Ayurveda to address anemia in kids

Bengaluru, India (CU)_ The state government of Karnataka intends to launch ayurvedic treatment to cure anemia in kids in the state. According to Ayush Department officials, the initiative will be started on a pilot basis soon and will focus on treating anemia primarily with food supplements and other Ayurvedic medications. At first, the government will begin the initiative with Raichur and Yadgir, which are the two aspirational districts of Karnataka chosen by the NITI Ayog and categorized under the National Nutrition Mission.
