Westpac admits to shoddy treatment of customers

SYDNEY (CU)_The Westpac Banking Corporation last week, admitted to shoddy treatment of customers, following six lawsuits brought by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) against the Australian bank. The bank lambasted for a “poor compliance culture”, as the Securities Commissioned filed lawsuits over several breaches, including charging dead people fees.
