Alert level for La Soufriere lowered to green

ST VINCENT AND GRENADINES – There have been natural disasters taking place as there has been a shift in the ecosystem because of the pandemic. Corona gave the ecosystem a bit of a shock when it forced countries to basically shut down and people had to take a 360 turn on the way they lived.

The Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines, on the advice of scientists from the Seismic Research Centre, University of the West Indies, lowered the volcanic alert level at La Soufriere from yellow to green, effective Wednesday.
