BEIJING CHINA – It looks like China just cannot catch a break when it comes to travel. Yet again there has been a lockdown in China where they have locked down 65 million citizens from leaving their homes.

The pandemic that was allegedly caused by China is now doing the worst to China. There has been a rampant spread of the disease in China in the last few days which has forced the country to have another lockdown.

According to most travel influencers on Instagram China was a travel hot spot for the year 2022. Not only because of the Great Wall but the culture, the food and several other things. But it seems like everyone that wanted to go to China may have to take a step back and reevaluate this trip.

Apart from the international travel China has also banned domestic travel. Since there were national holidays coming up the locals had planned holidays with their loved ones but it seems like this won’t happen with the new Covid lockdown taking place.

21 million people in the southwestern part of China have been told to stay in their residencies till further notice. Whilst the eastern part of China the people have been moved into isolation after there being 14 cases reported in a matter of minutes.

The national health Commission came out and reported that there has been a massive spike in cases as in the last 24 hours there have been 1552 cases. This is turning back into a pandemic and whilst other countries seem to have it under control China is slowly losing its grip.

The problem here is the revenue the country will loose on travel as there is now again a lockdown. The authorities are hoping they can manage it without ruining the economy of the country as the travel revenue is important.
