In addition, the Sultanate also excels in guaranteeing healthy lifestyles and encouraging care for people of all ages, as well as promoting excellent health and well-being. As the government strives to achieve gender equality and empower women and girls in the country, gender equality is also developing considerably. Additionally, Decent Work and Economic Growth is also improving gradually. However, there are considerable obstacles that need to be addressed.

Regarding the provision of clean water and sanitation, the nation is on pace to meet SDG accomplishment. Major obstacles remain in achieving zero hunger, food security, enhanced nutrition, and the promotion of sustainable agriculture. Further, the areas of climate action, life below water, and life on land require additional efforts. UNSDSN’s SDR 2022 is an annual evaluation of the 193 UN member nations towards the SDGs.
