Ekart introduces warehousing as a Service

(Commonwealth) _ As part of its goal to establish itself as a fourth-party logistics (4PL) player in the nation, Ekart, the largest supply chain network in India and a member of the Flipkart group, will now make its warehouses available to brands, manufacturers, retailers, and SMEs across the nation. According to a press release, “the project will allow brands of all sizes, manufacturers, and retailers from a variety of industries to access Ekart’s technologically sophisticated fulfilment centers for flexible, economical, and scalable inventory storage options.”

Ekart is a supply chain and logistics company that operates in India. The company has a network of warehouses and fulfillment centers spread throughout the country, covering a total of almost 20 million square feet of space. This vast network is designed to provide enterprises of all sizes with the infrastructure they need to manage their supply chains more effectively, reducing transit times and accelerating delivery times.

To achieve this, Ekart has set up four dedicated sites located in Bilaspur in Haryana, Malur in Karnataka, Saidham in Bombay, and Uluberia in West Bengal. These sites are designed to be modern, Grade-A fulfillment centers, outfitted with the latest technology and equipment to enable secure and prompt order delivery. They are staffed by trained professionals who are equipped to handle a wide range of products, from electronics to groceries and everything in between.

In addition to the dedicated sites, Ekart has also established 17 shared sites located throughout India. These sites are designed to provide additional storage capacity and logistical support to clients who require it. By leveraging this network of shared sites, clients can tap into a vast array of resources, including transportation, packaging, and order management services, all of which are designed to help streamline their supply chains and improve their bottom lines.

Ekart’s network of warehouses and fulfillment centers represents a significant investment in India’s logistics infrastructure.
