India (Common Wealth) _ According to a poll, nearly half of all Indian families possess a scooter or a motorcycle. In India, 47% of households own a two-wheeler, placing it sixth on the list maintained by the ‘World of Statistics’ X account.
Thailand tops the list, with 87% of households in the country having a two-wheeler, according to the data.The other three nations with more than 80% households owning a motorcycle or a scooter are Vietnam (86%), Indonesia (85%), and Malaysia (83%). China ranks fifth, with 60% of all families owning a two-wheeler, followed by India (47%), and Pakistan (43%). Nigeria (35%), the Philippines (32%), and Brazil (29%) round out the top ten.
