Hotels (Commonwealth Union) _ Expanding its presence in Rajasthan, the Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has unveiled Taj Sawai in Ranthambore. This new addition, featuring 60 rooms, is nestled on the outskirts of the renowned Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in Khilchipur village. Offering a diverse culinary experience, the hotel boasts an all-day diner named Machan, inspired by the forest theme, along with the Tropics grill and pool bar. In terms of event facilities, Taj Sawai provides over 2,500 square feet of banqueting space and an open lawn, catering to both business meetings and social gatherings.

The J Wellness Circle spa at the hotel is a haven for relaxation, featuring an infinity pool and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Puneet Chhatwal, the Managing Director and CEO of IHCL, expressed his excitement, emphasizing the special bond IHCL shares with Rajasthan, where they have been present for over five decades. He underscored IHCL’s commitment to expanding its footprint into new destinations, enriching guests with diverse experiences.

Taj Sawai’s General Manager, Kunal Roy, shared the hotel’s dedication to offering guests immersive experiences, including wildlife safaris, within the spectacular Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. The property’s strategic location also provides easy access to nearby attractions, including the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ranthambore Fort.

With the opening of Taj Sawai, IHCL now boasts 23 hotels in Rajasthan, eight of which are in various stages of development. The company’s portfolio encompasses a range of brands, including Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger. Last month, IHCL celebrated the inauguration of a new Vivanta-branded hotel in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, showcasing the brand’s expanding footprint.

Currently operating 280 hotels globally, IHCL has 82 hotels in the development pipeline. This includes locations across four continents, spanning 11 countries and over 100 diverse locations. The continuous expansion underscores IHCL’s commitment to offering unparalleled hospitality experiences across the world, while maintaining a focus on sustainable and responsible tourism practices.
