Air India announced on Monday that it has launched a nonstop service between Singapore and Bengaluru

Air India to commence Bengaluru to Singapore Non-Stop Flights From 22nd October

(Sunday) with the new service providing the direct connection between the two crucial cities. 

The flight will be operating four days a week and will have a two-class configuration of economy and business class seats.   In addition, Air India has increased the frequency of flights from Mumbai to Singapore.

India’s premier global airline, Air India, as unveiled its latest offering – a direct non-stop service connecting the vibrant cities of Bengaluru and Singapore. 

Commencing 22nd October, 2023, this new route promises to bring people closer and make their journeys special.

The eagerly awaited new service AI392 flight will be taking off from Bengaluru at the stroke of 10:30 PM, and will embark on an unforgettable journey to Singapore, where it will touch down at 05:40 AM.

AI393, the return journey, will depart from Singapore at 6:40 AM, and you will be back in the heart of Bengaluru in no time, at 8:35 AM (All Local Time).

This journey, operated with the state-of-the-art Airbus A321 aircraft, offers two unique classes: 170 comfortable Economy seats and 12 luxurious Business Class seats. Planning your trip will become a breeze with flights available operate four days a week on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The new flight connection is expected to enhance tourism and trade in the two cities.

The launch of this new route will bring tourists together, while it will also create opportunities for trade and commerce, making it a journey for everyone from holidaymakers to students and the bustling business community.

In addition, Air India is increasing the frequency of flights from Mumbai to Singapore, soaring from seven to 13 flights per week from October 22, 2023. This means that Air India presently operates a grand total of 38 non-stop flights to Singapore every week, connecting cities like Delhi (14 flights), Mumbai (13 flights), Chennai (7 flights), and Bengaluru (4 flights). This milestone will be showcasing Air India’s commitment to expanding connectivity and making travel more accessible.

This remarkable expansion is a part of Air India’s grand transformation journey, as they strive to build a more comprehensive and robust network. The airline’s commitment to expanding connectivity and frequency on both domestic and international routes has been reinforced through the incorporation of new aircraft into their fleet.

The company said in a release that the new service Launched from 22nd October, provides convenient direct connection between the two cities. It stated that said flight AI 392 will depart Bengaluru at 22:30 hrs to reach Singapore at 05:40 hrs the next morning, and the return flight AI 393 will depart from Singapore at 06:40 hrs to land in Bengaluru at 08:35 hrs (all local time).


Additionally Air India has enhanced the frequency from Mumbai to Singapore from seven flights a week to 13 flights a week from 22nd October.   Air India is presently operating a total of 38 non-stop flights to Singapore weekly from Delhi (14 flights), Mumbai (13 flights), Chennai (7 flights) and Bengaluru (4 flights) connecting the ‘Merlion City’ with the increased frequency and commencement of service from Bengaluru, it said.

It added that building a more robust network was a key element of Air India’s transformation journey and the new launch was in line with the airline’s commitment to expand connectivity while enhancing frequency on its domestic and international sectors as it keeps augmenting the fleet with new aircraft.
