Sydney, Australia (CU)_ Berkley Insurance Australia (BIA), a 5-Star Professional Indemnity Insurer of 2021, has supported the battle against juvenile brain cancer by contributing to the Children’s Hospital Foundation, which supports the Children’s Brain Cancer Center.

The Children’s Brain Cancer Center is the first research effort in Australia that is dedicated exclusively to children’s brain cancer research, treatment, and survival. It also connects global research experts, physicians, and organizations to strengthen the capability and results of brain cancer research both inside and outside of Queensland.

BIA agreed to contribute $1 from each new Open Market Policy contract signed in March to the center as part of its battle against the illness. According to the BIA’s statement, brain cancer mortality rate is high among the children in Australia compared to other diseases, with one kid dying every nine days. Apart from collaborating with organizations to safeguard Australians, the BIA has formed collaborations with other businesses to broaden people’s options in the contemporary environment, which includes the internet.

BIA demonstrated its active involvement in the fight against brain cancer in kids. It said, “Despite many advances in other childhood cancers, survival rates of brain cancer have made little progress over the last 30 years. The Children’s Brain Cancer Center aims to change that. This March, we ask our brokers to show their support and stand with us to support these strong kids and fight this cruel disease.”

The general insurer joined the blockchain industry in the beginning of 2022 following its partnership with Frontier Global Underwriting (Frontier) to offer professional liability, general liability, and directors’ and officers’ liability insurance to the blockchain companies, making them one of the first insurance providers and underwriting agencies to provide a customized insurance solution for blockchain.
