Bollywood divas meet at the Mumbai Taekwondo Competition!

Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Bollywood divas Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor, both featured in the 2002 film “Mujhse Dosti Karoge,” recently graced a taekwondo annual competition in Mumbai, marking a delightful reunion. Captured in several photographs from the event, the two stars exuded camaraderie as they posed together. Additionally, Kareena Kapoor was seen with her little son Taimur, proudly donning a medal, while Rani Mukerji shared a moment with Karan Johar’s son Yash Johar, both adorned in their taekwondo uniforms.

For the event, Rani opted for a casual ensemble of a T-shirt, denim, and heels, while Kareena sported a white top, grey pants, and black heels. Earlier this year, Kareena Kapoor treated her followers to a charming picture featuring Rani Mukerji, affectionately captioned, “Tina and Pooja, IYKYK” (If you know, you know). In the snapshot, Rani radiated elegance in a green summer dress, complemented by Kareena’s stylish black ensemble.

Directed by Kunal Kohli, “Mujhse Dosti Karoge!” is a romantic film released in 2002, where Rani portrayed Pooja and Kareena depicted Tina, with Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. The duo also shared the screen in “Talaash.” Their recent encounter took place on Kareena’s show “What Women Want,” capturing the attention of onlookers and shutterbugs. In a video circulating online, Rani endearingly referred to Kareena as her “Jaan,” declaring, “Yeh meri jaan hai” (She is my life), eliciting a warm smile from Kareena Kapoor. 

On the professional front, Rani Mukerji showcased her versatility in the film “Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway,” portraying the role of a determined immigrant mother fighting against adversities to regain custody of her children, directed by Ashima Chibber. Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor is set to grace the screen in “The Buckingham Murders,” directed by Hansal Mehta, which recently premiered at the BFI London Film Festival. Additionally, she is poised to feature in “The Crew” alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon.
