New York, USA (CWBN)_ Despite trending drops across betting markets in US, UK and Australia a few hours after the Florida and Ohio counts came out, Joe Biden is back to being the bookmakers’ favourite, standing beside the prediction made by media networks over the course of the day.
The development occurred after the counts from Wisconsin, one of battleground states, started indicating a Biden win by a small margin. Arizona, another swing state, has counted 82% of votes giving Biden a lead of 5% over Donald Trump, and with 93% of votes counted in Virginia, Biden is leading again by a good 9%. Wisconsin, Arizona and Virginia collectively amount to about 34 Electoral College (EC) votes.
Biden is also trending in New Hampshire, Minnesota, and Colorado, and he is also leading in Nevada by a small margin. Provided things go well for Biden he could account for 29 more EC votes to add up to his 270.
