CIBC gets a makeover

TORONTO (CU)_Over the recent years, the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) has been considering the need to rebrand itself as a customer-focused operation, with its branding and corporate affairs team conducting a two-year-long research which began in 2018. Although, the rebranding effort was set to be launched in 2020, the announcement was pushed to 2021 on account of the pandemic.  Accordingly, last week, the Toronto-based multinational bank launched its new logo, which was rolled out across its marketing and advertising platforms on Thursday (23 September).
