TORONTO (CU)_Over the recent years, the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) has been considering the need to rebrand itself as a customer-focused operation, with its branding and corporate affairs team conducting a two-year-long research which began in 2018. Although, the rebranding effort was set to be launched in 2020, the announcement was pushed to 2021 on account of the pandemic.
