The much-awaited popular webinar series organised by the Commonwealth Future will commence on October 22, 2020 (Thursday).

During the pandemic, Commonwealth Future, a not-for-profit non-political organisation striving for an optimistic future for the Commonwealth, has virtually engaged key influencers with a series of engaging discussions online.

Eminent guest speakers with a shared passion for improving nations’ wellbeing and residents’ personal growth to drive positive changes in Commonwealth societies, have been the common thread running through the popular webinar series to up-to-date.

Many high-profile guests have offered their time to share their thinking and learnings with guests with the hope that, collectively, small changes in approaches can instigate big change.

Great debates have been sparked at each session and the upcoming webinar on 22 October is set to be another great success.

“The theme reflects our mission at Commonwealth Future to help others achieve a better life through tools such as great healthcare, education and learning.  This is why we are also championing the access to quality vision care for people to help fulfil their potential. There are synergies in our vision and giving people access to basic quality health care that we are fortunate enough to take for granted here in the UK.”

As with all webinars to date, Zimar Sivardeen will set the scene at the beginning of the event: highlighting how an estimated 900 million people in the Commonwealth have issues with visual impairment and his vision to give other communities access to quality care in order to create a fair and equitable society for all.
