CALIFORNIA, America (CWBN)_ Famous Hollywood actor George Cloooney revealed to a US news anchor that he has been cutting his hair with an device which can be used for haircuts once attached to a vacuum cleaner. The Flowbee, which was invented in the 1980s, consists of a plastic attachment capable of trimming hair once fitted to a functional vacuum cleaner.
Interestingly, Clooney claims his grooming habit has nothing to do with the current pandemic and that he has been cutting his hair using the device for the past 25 years. “Look, my hair’s, like really like straw, you know? And it’s so easy to cut. You can’t really make too many mistakes. So years ago I bought a thing called a Flowbee… It comes with a vacuum cleaner and the clippers? Yeah. I still have it. … Listen, man, it works!… “Now, I wouldn’t do it to my wife!,” he said, laughingly at an interview. US talkshow host Jimmy Kimmel made the actor prove that he did in fact know how to use the gadget during Clooney’s appearance on his show Jimmy Kimmel Live last week, forcing Clooney to use it on air.
Following his revelation, the Flowbee gadget has apparently sold out. Vice President of Flowbee Troy Hunts credits the exponential increase in sales to what he calls “the Clooney effect”. He told a popular Hollywood entertainment channel that sales increased tenfold and the website became so overloaded with customers that a lot of people weren’t able to complete their orders.
The actor’s latest big reveal has not been accepted outright by keen observers. Clooney is known to play elaborate pranks; he once got a tailor to alter Matt Damon’s pants periodically to make him think he was actually gaining weight while on a diet, he bought a painting he considered hideous and made his former roommate Richard Kind hang it up for two years by saying it was the first thing his art teacher said he was proud of after a years’ worth of lessons and before that he emptied Kind’s kitty litter box for two weeks while living there, making him think that his cat was constipated. All of his high jinks over the years mean that some people suspect that this too is another elaborate prank on his part, with some stating that his hair is too “perfect” for this to be true.
