India (Commonwealth Union)_According to Euler Motors’ chief executive, when its new facility on the outskirts of New Delhi begins operations in the current quarter, the output will increase from 100 to 1,000 vehicles each month. The Company’s CEO Saurav Kumar noted that the business anticipates that high demand will cause its order book, which is now over 9,000 units, to increase to 15,000 units by the end of the fiscal year.

To expand its production capacity and product line, Indian company Euler Motors, which develops and manufactures commercial electric cars, has secured $60 million in a fresh fundraising round. The firm with its base in New Delhi received its Series C financing from Singapore’s sovereign fund GIC. The financing, which gives Euler Motors a $200 million valuation, also included participation from Blume Ventures, Athera Venture Partners, QRG, ADB Ventures, and Moglix.

To determine if electric bikes can withstand the rough conditions of India’s roads and wide temperature variations, Euler Motors tested hundreds of prototypes and logged millions of kilometers before the Olas of the world began developing the occasionally flammable electric bikes.

To reduce the country’s carbon emissions, New Delhi and the state governments are providing sizeable discounts to people wishing to buy an electric vehicle. After state and federal subsidies, consumers paid around $4,300 for a $6,140 electric car. The HiLoad EV retails for roughly $4,900 before state assistance. Its gasoline competitors retail for roughly $3,700, highlighting the need for further cooperation from governments, VCs, and early adopters. The firm, which is mostly operating in the capital region right now, intends to reach 12 more countries by the conclusion of the current fiscal year. Additionally, the Indian government is providing businesses with incentives worth billions of dollars to produce EVs and their components there.
