Jobs opportunities for Sri Lankan health care workers

WASHINGTON DC (COMMONWEALTH UNION) _Health care workers are a commodity that is always in high demand all over the world. Most often than not there is melting pot of people from all over the world working in the health care industry.

When we speak of health care, there seems to be job opportunities all over the world. Sri Lankan embassy in the United States of America just commented that there is a somewhat urgent need for health care workers.

The Embassy went on to say that Sri Lanka will be given 550 slots to fill which means that there will be 550 job opportunities for any Sri Lankan working in the health care sector.

Once the job order was secured by the Sri Lankan Embassy based in Washington D.C., it was ambassador Mahinda Samarasinghe, who, then, reached out to the a global healthcare recruitment provider by the name of Karma Services LLC and facilitated an agreement between the American agency and the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Agency.

In terms of the agreement, Sri Lanka will have secured jobs for 250 registered nurses, 100 lab techs and 200 nursing assistants. The Embassy spokesman further stated that they had already begun  the recruitment process to have the candidates ready as soon as they could.
