Kenya’s pharmaceutical industry to benefit from investment

Nairobi, Kenya (CU)_ Square Pharmaceuticals intends to assist Kenya in reducing its medical drug import cost once its pharmaceutical factory in Machakos County is completed in 2022. The plant’s first phase, which is scheduled to be completed next year, would cost Kshs. 2.5 billion and is capable of manufacturing minimum 2 billion pills and capsules each year.
