India (Commonwealth Union)_ The Indian math wizard Master G.P. Abhinav Prathyush is attracting attention worldwide after displaying his mind-blowing mental math skills on Russian television. Born in Tamil Nadu, the 11-year-old Abhinav mesmerized the global audience with his mind-boggling ability to do complex mathematical calculations in his mind. Born on November 22, 2014 to Ganesan and S. Pradheeba, Abhinav is considered as one of the most gifted young mathematicians in the world. Recently, he traveled to Moscow to participate in the popular television talent show Amazing People, which was broadcast on Russia-1. What makes Abhinav’s talent particularly unique is his no-abacus approach. Many mental math experts use an abacus in their mind to do calculations, but Abhinav does all his multiplication, square and cube calculations just in his head. He is known both in India and abroad for his speed, accuracy and memory. The young prodigy has won several major titles and records over the years. He has been officially recognized as the “Youngest Human Calculator” by Kalam’s World Records for calculating complex two-digit and three-digit multiplications, squares and cubes entirely from memory.
