Over the years, Deepika Padukone has carved out a place for herself not just in Indian cinema but also on the international stage. In 2017, her Hollywood debut film, xXx: Return of Xander Cage, with Vin Diesel, was released. She has since established a global popularity, appearing often at the Cannes Film Festival and the Met Gala. Her influence extends far beyond movies. In 2018, TIME magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world. She was also honoured with the TIME100 Impact Award. Additionally, her international appeal has also led to collaborations with luxury fashion houses Cartier and Louis Vuitton, making her the first Indian ambassador for both brands, a move that paved the way for other Indian celebrities in global fashion.
