MTWA to Bridge Leadership Gap in Africa

-

Africa (Commonwealth) _ Mr. John Enelamah, a cleric and the organizer of the “Mission to West Africa” (MTWA) Conferences, has pledged to use the MTWA series to connect the leadership gaps in Africa, starting with Nigeria, the continent’s most populous country. Speaking at the MTWA 2024 conference with the topic “The Rising Woman,” Enelamah made this submission. It fits in with the Leaders Conference that was conducted over the weekend in Lagos State and had as its theme “Equipping the Equippers.”

“We are committed to fostering inclusive growth, enabling transformational leadership, and driving sustainable reforms in Africa and, by extension, Nigeria,” he stated. We think Nigeria can resolve its economic problems with this.

The second in a series of yearly conferences organized by John Enelamah, the founder of Kingdom Apostolic Revival Ministries (KARM), in cooperation with Apostles in the Marketplace (AiP), Endtime Revival Ministries (ERM), and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), is the Mission to West Africa (MTWA) conference in 2024. Mrs. Ibukun Awosika, Ms. Esther Ibanga, Ms. Teresa Conlon, and Mrs. Peace Okonkwo are among the speakers at the women’s conference this year.

Awosika alluded to the biblical story of the talents in her speech. According to her, God will need everyone’s labor in the hereafter, regardless of gender, therefore women must work to make sure they use their abilities and talents well in order to be rewarded by the one who created all life.

God needs everyone in his army—a force made up of both men and women—because he has work to be done. Nearly fifty percent of the world’s population is made up of males and another half is from women respectively.

What if half of them were unarmed due to ignorance? God’s gifts are not gender specific. They have certain purposes in mind. I have come to inform you that in God’s kingdom, you are not an afterthought. I’ve come to confront you with the fact that there will soon be a reckoning. It would be all about you and your job that day. It wouldn’t be about my kids or spouse forbidding me from doing this or that. Every lady needs to put forth effort to be saved.

Every lady needs to put forth effort to be saved. God made sure you had a husband. Your spouse is supposed to make your trip better. Everything has a reason for existing.

Avoid comparing your life to that of others. The most crucial thing is that the life you are navigating is in line with the purpose God has for your life and that you are using your abilities to best serve him. Not like every other woman, but all that God wants you to be, is all that you need to be from her perspective. Esther Ibanga emphasized that although not all women are called into pastoral ministry, all women must have a good influence and encouraged women to do their part to improve their surrounding communities. Indeed, women face many obstacles in pastoral ministry, but serving God doesn’t require being in the ministry. What does God see as he looks around? Is she a lady who has answered God’s call to her life, in his opinion? Does he perceive a lady who has attained the status of a devout wife? In Nigeria, we are at a point where we must rise to the occasion. Are we saying that when the Lord gives us the ability to solve the issues facing our country, we will do all we can with what little we have? May you not be absent for others who are asked to fill that position.
