India (Commonwealth) _ Maruti Suzuki, India’s top automobile maker, has had a steady increase in sales in recent years, owing to popular models such as the Baleno and Breeza. Despite increasing revenues, the company has a significant backlog of over 38,000 pending orders.

According to reports, Maruti Suzuki is yet to deliver more than 3, 86,000 automobiles. Aside from that, the recently released Jimny, which has wowed many with its advanced features and ability to compete with Mahindra Thar, has had strong bookings of over 31,000 units, extending the waiting period to 8-9 months.

The brand now has 55,000 pending bookings for Brezza. Grand Vitara, on the other hand, has 33,000 pending bookings. The Fronx is not far behind in the race, with over 28,000 pending orders and a four-month waiting period.

Shashank Srivastava, the company’s Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, has announced that the feature-packed MPVs Ertiga and XL6 had a combined backlog of over 1 lakh units. He explained that backlog orders exist owing to the supply chain crisis and production restrictions that the company has been experiencing for quite some time.

Previously, Srivastava told the media that the firm has received an incredible response for their items, particularly from competitor Jimny. He stated that the company was receiving roughly 1,000 bookings each day when the car did not make its official debut in the market. He also indicated that the firm’s booking rate for Baleno-based Fronx was roughly 300 per day.

Maruti Suzuki India, the country’s largest automaker, has begun exporting its recently released SUV, Fronx. According to a recent release, the company successfully sent the first shipment of 556 automobiles from the ports of Mundra and Pipavav. These cars are on their way to diverse locations in Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa. With its latest SUV product, Fronx, Maruti Suzuki has expanded into overseas markets.

With the help of its parent firm, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan Suzuki Maruti has grown its portfolio by entering new markets. Customers in India may be assured that their much-loved vehicle will soon become a global favourite.
