Prince Harry’s next trip to the UK may be in jeopardy, courtesy of Meghan

LONDON (CU)_Following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh last month, Prince Harry was set to unite with the Royal Family once again, on 1 July, for the unveiling of the statue of Princess Diana on her 60th birth anniversary. However, experts now say that with Meghan unlikely to return to the UK, it is seriously doubtful that Harry will return home this summer.

“I personally don’t think Meghan will return to the UK,” royal author and expert Phil Dampier told The Sun. “And there must now be a serious doubt as to whether Harry will come over for the unveiling of a statue for Princess Diana on what would have been her 60th birthday in July.”

“The relationship between the so-called former ‘Fab Four’—Harry, Meghan, William and Kate—is now so broken and delicate that everyone is looking for the slightest signs it is getting better…or worse,” he added.

Dampier noted that while the discussions held between William and Harry after Prince Philip’s funeral were a start, however, it was only an opening move, as their relationship is “clearly very strained”.

“Harry and Meghan now have all they want to make them happy if they are going to be. A son, a daughter on the way, their freedom from the royal family and the means to make money and get involved in cases which interest them,” the royal expert continued. Therefore, it would be counter-productive and unnecessary to carry on a war with Harry’s blood family, he noted.

“The [Harry and Meghan] should get on with their lives, stop playing the victim and stop playing on their royal connections by leaking stories while pleading for privacy,” Dampier said. “People can see through it and anyone who advises them to carry on this way is giving them bad advice.”
