MOSCOW (CWBN)_Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday (Oct 25), that he saw nothing criminal in Hunter Biden’s past business ties with Ukraine or Russia. Putin made these claims in response to the allegations made by President Donald Trump during the final presidential debate, that Democratic challenger Joe Biden and his son Hunter engaged in unethical practices in Ukraine.

“Yes, in Ukraine he (Hunter Biden) had or maybe still has a business, I don’t know. It doesn’t concern us. It concerns the Americans and the Ukrainians,” Putin said.

“But, well, yes he had at least one company, which he practically headed up, and judging from everything he made good money. I don’t see anything criminal about this, at least we don’t know anything about this (being criminal)”.

During the final presidential debate held last week, Trump claimed that as soon as Biden became vice president Burisma (a Ukrainian energy company), had paid Biden’s son $183,000 a month, and they also gave him a $3 million upfront payment.

“I later learned of Burisma, a company that somehow, I had done something wrong, yet every single solitary person, when he was going through his impeachment, testifying under oath, who work for him (President Trump), said I did my job impeccably. I carried out U.S. policy, not one single solitary thing was out of line, not a single thing”, Biden said in response.

The former vice president also claimed that 50 former national intelligence officers, including five former heads of the CIA, have said what Trump is accusing him of is a Russian plant.

During the broadcast by Russian state TV on Sunday, President Putin made it clear that he considered the allegations made by Trump about the Bidens false, and the Russian president appeared less friendly towards his American counterpart in his remarks, which certain analysts believe was an attempt to curry favour with the Biden campaign.

While no evidence has been verified to support the allegations made by the Trump, according to Andrew Bates, a spokesman for Biden, investigations by the press, during impeachment, and even by two Republican-led Senate committees, have all reached the same conclusion that Joe Biden carried out official US policy toward Ukraine and engaged in no wrongdoing.
