Regional Business Body signs MOU to lure more investments from the US

(CU)_The East African Business Council (EABC) on Wednesday (10 Nov), signed a memorandum of understanding with Chicago-based Africa Global Chamber of Commerce (AGCC), with the aim of attracting more investments to the East African region from the United States. According to officials, the partnership is expected to lure investments from the US to special economic zones, industrial parks export processing zones in East Africa, and will strengthen trade relations with the parties by unlocking access to the Western market.
