Saudi Foreign Minister to visit Pakistan

-

Islamabad, Pakistan (CU)_ A high-level Saudi Arabian delegation led by Foreign Minister, Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud, is expected to visit Pakistan this month, Pakistani news agency, The News International reported.

The foreign minister is to be accompanied by the Minister of Energy Abdulaziz bin Salman and a group of businessmen, will be meeting with Pakistani President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

The dialogues include discussion over the establishment of an oil refinery in Pakistan.

Sources have claimed that the state-visit reflect a positive gradient to the Saudi-Pakistani relations, which plummeted severely last year, particularly in regard to Saudi Arabia’s stance on Kashmir in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Pakistan’s refusal to support the Saudi led Yemen war, with many hailing the upset to be the end of an era.
