Students visit Indian naval ship

India (Commonwealth Union)_ The children were welcome to tour the Eastern Fleet vessels INS Rajput, INS Kulish, and INS Kamorta at Visakhapatnam as part of Navy Week celebrations. Over 4,000 pupils from 80 schools, including 280 special kids from Visakhapatnam, attended the event, which received a resoundingly positive reaction. The pupils were given a briefing on the various weaponry and equipment installed onboard the ships before being given a guided tour of the vessel. Additionally, a Career Counseling Cell was established where students may learn about the different admission requirements for the Indian Navy.

Using picture boards, projection systems, and PowerPoint presentations, the visitors were informed about various naval evolutions and activities. The guests had the chance to speak with Men in White and were very excited to get a close-up look at life in the Navy. Special children actively participated in the event and responded with enthusiasm. The ministry claims that the purpose of the deployment of 1TS is to familiarize trainees with ports and expose them to conducting various evolutions at sea. They displayed their unique gift in a beautiful performance of song, music, and a painting activity.

The guided missile destroyer INS Rajput, which was built for multi-dimensional warfare operations, is outfitted with cutting-edge sensors and armaments. The first stealth anti-submarine warfare corvette to be developed in-house by the Directorate of Naval Design of the Indian Navy and M/s Garden Reach Shipyard (GRSE), Kolkata, is INS Kamorta. Its arsenal of weapons and sensors include of torpedoes, ASW rockets, medium-range guns, and close-range missile systems. The Kora-class corvette INS Kulish was created under Project 25A and is outfitted with Surface-to-Surface missiles, Medium-Range cannons, and Close-in Weapon Systems weapons. Special adolescents joyfully and actively participated in the event, displaying their unique talents in a spectacular performance of singing, art, and artwork.
