Tesla NanoCoatings Survives hurricane Ida and Covid

-

California, USA (CU)_ Tesla NanoCoatings faced significant hurdles in 2021, including storm Ida, which disrupted a large portion of its offshore client base, and COVID 19 outbreaks during the entire year, and still survived and resumed rapid expansion. Tesla NanoCoatings President and CEO Todd Hawkins noted, “We can point to number of successes in 2021 that lead to these positive results”.

Tesla NanoCoatings had an extremely busy year. The introduction of NANO Non-Skid, which delivers exceptional slip and fall protection, witnessed immediate acceptance by a large number of offshore operators. Malcolm Kerr, Vice President of International Sales, expressed delight over the success. He said, “The combination of the success of NANO Non-Skid and our ability gain new customers in the Gulf of Mexico, the Middle East and West Africa all contributed to this sales success”.

Tesla NanoCoatings’ excellent carbon nanotechnology was boosted further with the inclusion of five patents to an already robust patent portfolio of forty patents. The two most deserving patents gained in 2021 are the 2×1 Wet EdgeTM patent for its ground-breaking 2×1 Wet EdgeTM method, a wet-on-wet procedure that provides significant time and cost savings while also providing technologically improved corrosion protection benefits.

The company’s second patent covers Super CNT. When applied, Tesla NanoCoatings’ one-coat coating self-stratifies into a primer / topcoat carbon nanotube polymer laminate. The self-stratifying layers have the benefits of a multi-layer carbon nanocoating system in a single coat, simultaneously enhancing corrosion protection, lowering costs, and expediting return to service.

Tesla NanoCoatings, Inc., the world leader in carbon nanotechnology, announced the appointment of Ted Hammer as Principal Development Scientist. Hammer has spent the last three years as a Doctoral Research Assistant at Tesla NanoCoatings, where he has worked on a variety of new product development projects, laboratory testing, and technical service work. Todd Hawkins, President and CEO of Tesla NanoCoatings Inc., expressed confidence over the appointment of Ted. He said, “Ted did an outstanding job as Doctoral Research Assistant and we’re pleased to have him join the company as a Principal Development Scientist”. The market leader in carbon nanotechnology concluded 2021 in a good position and is anticipating sustained success in 2022.
