LONDON (CU)_In celebration of their tenth wedding anniversary on Thursday (29 April), the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released two new portraits taken earlier this week. The two images were snapped at Kensington Palace by Chris Floyd, with one of them having a striking resemblance to their engagement photo, where the couple were hugging in front of the radiator in 2010.

The Duke and Duchess reportedly got engaged during a trip to Kenya in November 2010. They tied the knot on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey. The Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams married the couple, while the Dean of Westminster Abbey at the time, John Hall, led the service. The ceremony was attended by around 2000 guests, with millions of others watching around the world. Catherine’s father Michael Middleton escorted her down the aisle, while her sister Pippa served as the Maid of Honour. Prince Harry was standing next to William at the altar as his Best Man.

On the morning of his wedding, William was made the Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus by his grandmother The Queen. Subsequently, Catherine took the female form of these titles, The Duchess of Cambridge, The Countess of Strathearn and The Baroness Carrickfergus, upon her marriage to the Duke. The couple now have three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
