The foundation of this significant collaboration was laid in April 2013, when TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad joined forces to co-manufacture sub-500cc motorcycles for the global market. This collaboration has yielded extraordinary results over the last ten years, setting new norms in the business. This collaboration resulted in four remarkable motorcycles, all based on the 310cc platform: the BMW G 310 R, BMW 310 GS, BMW G310 RR, and the TVS Apache RR 310, which serves as TVS Motor Company’s flagship motorbike.
The Apache 310R, a street variant of the RR310 based on BMW’s G310R, is anticipated to be the next motorcycle from this collaboration.
These motorcycles have been a huge success, winning over 1.4 lakh clients in major regions such as the EU, the United States, Latin America, Japan, China, and India. The seamless combination of German engineering expertise and Indian invention has resulted in legendary brands that have come to represent performance, quality, and innovation.
The partnership’s first decade’s accomplishments acted as a stimulus for its expansion and extension in December 2021. The identical 313cc single cylinder engine powers all of these motorcycles.
